Who We Are

The Grove Manor Foundation finds its roots in a people committed to living out Christ’s calling in community. We celebrate a long, cherished heritage which, like the Lord Himself, prioritized people, compassionately serving one another in love.

The name Grove Manor is well-known in association with our 5-Star nursing facilities Grove City and Franklin, PA, and with Woodcrest senior Living in Scottsdale, PA.

In 2019, the Grove Manor Foundation, a 501c3 organization, was internationally created as an outreach arm of Grove Manor as a fresh expression of living into our calling to love the Lord and to love one another.

Presently, the Grove Manor Foundation initiatives form three main branches:

The Ethos Institute is a platform for articulating our distinct Christian perspective, integrating its insight into the mainstream realities of everyday living. Through video presentations, live interviews and curated articles, we are striving to create a fresh conversation that is lively, informed, inter-disciplinary, and inherently practical.

The Bridges to Seniors Project is our initial step toward community engagement in our own region, designed to engage, train, and support congregations throughout Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, and Northern West Virginia. Our aim is to provide resources and support to local congregations, and to create a healthy network of encouragement as they face the congregants and communities.

Global Reach is our first step to reconnect with the global work that springs from the same heritage that led to Grove Manor. In conjunction with the Churches of God, General Conference, we are reinvesting and partnering with the schools, medical work, and community development efforts that we helped to create in India and Bangladesh in the 1890’s.
